| Sgt. John Wales, a graduate of Missouri Southern State College. In July of 1990, Sgt. Wales joined the Joplin Police Department as a Patrol Officer. He has experience within the Patrol and Investigations Divisions. Sgt. Wales currently serves the police department as the Patrol Division Administrative Sergeant. His duties include the purchasing of all equipment, uniforms, weapons (for the Patrol Division) , vehicles for both the Patrol Division and Investigation Division, scheduling of uniformed officers, inventory of department property and completing assignments delegated by the Patrol Division Commander. |
