| Sgt. Sloan Rowland is the training sergeant for the department. He makes sure that all state requirements for training are met for our police officers. He is also in charge of the FTO program which is the training program for new officers that are hired with the police department. Sgt. Rowland has been with the police department since January 2000 were he has spent most of my time in patrol until his new assignment which began in February 2008. He has been a member of the SWAT team since 2002 and is the current team leader. He currently has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and is working on a Master's degree in criminal justice. |
