| The Assistant Chief of Police is in charge of the Police Department's overall budget and Operations Division. The Operations Division is by far the most visible component of the Police Department and is comprised of the Patrol Bureau, Investigations Bureau, and Special Enforcement Bureau. The Operations Division accounts for more than 98% of the Department’s sworn personnel.
